Subject: Windmill 3958 for sale
Info: (4082 views) Posted: Thursday 11-5-09 11:19:27 PM
Greetings: I owned a 1969 Wooden Windmill and raced it in a small fleet in Fort Pierce, Florida, in 69 and early 70. I am interested in reentering the sport with another Windmill that I can handle solo, or add one person for crew. I live in Vero Beach, Fla...straight across the state from Tampa (Rt. 60) Please send me a few pictures...and any other leads for boats close to where I live...I would like to purchas a fully class legal boat so I can race it....join the Windmill Class Association, etc. Currently, I am building Model Racing Radio controlled boats...and race them twice weekly. I have a wall full of trophies...Duh! Also, past Commodore of the O'Aces Yacht Club in Las Vegas, Nv. I gave sailing lessions (Hawaii Yacht Club/Hickam Harbor Yacht Club - Harbor Master in mid 60's) mainly on the Rhodes 19. Any leads, plus your boat for sale appreciated...I believe there may be a small fleet of Windmills just up the road in Melbourne...I need a contact there...Thanks and good luck.
