Do to conflicts with graduations, moving & house addition projects we
had only 3 Windmills at the Lake Yosemite Regatta. Saturday's racing
was postponed until 1:30 becuse of no wind, but then picked up nicely
and the conditions were ideal for the 2nd & 3rd race an Saturday. The
wind was light for Sunday's 2 races. Scott Rovanpera captured 2nd
place in the open centerboard division. The other 2 windmills were
skippered by Darrell Sorensen and Armand Peterson. The Lake Yosemite
Sailing Association put on an excellent dinner saturday evening. We
had a great time at the regatta and plan to be back next year with
more Windmills in tow.
