Measurer Report 2012
It was a good year. Ongoing measurement of sails and other items has
been occurring at regattas whenever requested. Assisting owners with
a rule questions is a continuous process. I have done what has been
requested in measurement of new boats and continue to provide support
by answering questions on modifications to existing boats. We
continue to work with the class officers to support the new builder,
including visiting the shop to inspect the new molds and discuss use
of materials. The measurement of the new glass boat should take place
later this year.
This year’s focus will make safety a priority with verification that
boats have the required safety gear and equipment on board, including
flotation for the glass boats. Please work with me so we can have a
strong and safe class. See you on the water.
