:: Bristol Seacraft has begun building Penguins
:: professionally and it seems to me that there may be a
:: market for Windmills of the same quality. Anyone with an
:: interest may contact them at www.bristolseacraft.com.
::
:: * I, of course, have nothing to do with this company and
:: know no one who works there. I have owned two Windmills
:: in the past and about 30-plus years ago sailed a couple
:: of Southerns and Midwinters regattas, and have always
:: had a soft spot in my heart for the class. I have spent
:: the time since then sailing Stars, Dragons, Finns, etc.,
:: but I still come here and look around from time to time
:: and remember with fondness my first Windmill (a heavy
:: fibreglass Newport, iirc).

They are building a beautiful little Penguin. Check out their pricelist - $14,000 + just for the "racing version" hull. Painted - Rigging is more money. You could easily end up with $17,000 in a Penguin. I would imagine that their Windmill would be $20,000.
